Since the gulf of my transgressions is great, O Saviour, and I sink grievously in mine offenses, extend me thy right hand and save me, as thou didst save Peter, O God, and have mercy on me.
Since I stand condemned by mine evil thoughts and deeds, O Saviour, grant me a mind to turn to thee, O God, that I may cry: Save me, O good Benefactor, and have mercy on me.
Another world doth await thee, O my soul, and a Judge who shall make public thy hidden and grievous deeds. Abide not, therefore, in things present, but be quick and cry unto the Judge: O God, be gracious unto me, and save me.
O my Saviour, reject me not who am overcome by the slothfulness of sin. Rouse my thoughts unto repentance, and show me forth as a worthy laborer in thy vineyard; grant me the wages of the eleventh hour and thy great mercy.
